The school organises Poetry Café every year to arouse students’ interest in appreciating poetry, which is very important in learning both Chinese and English languages. Through this activity, students practice reading aloud with different forms of poetic language and structure. They develop their understanding of what a poem is and gain strategies for reading poetry. Finally, each class is given a chance to perform on the stage to build up their confidence.

Each year, the school invites parents to attend this activity. Their physical support not only motivate but also encourage their children to learn and share.
