Information and Communication Technology

The Information and Communication Technology curriculum provides students with a six-year course focusing on the development of good character traits. Each grade level has different information literacy topics to develop students into good digital citizens.

The curriculum of each grade level is module-based. The design of the curriculum allows students to progress step by step. The modules include understanding basic computer software and hardware operations, learning Chinese input methods, MS office, cloud applications, coding, three-dimensional print production, Internet of Things and mobile phone applications. The objectives of the curriculum are to develop students to use their knowledge and skills and computing thinking in their daily lives.

The Information and Communication Technology team has multiple channels to collaborate with other subjects, e.g. integrating and applying knowledge and skills across disciplines through STEM-related learning activities, thus to make IT a learning tool and provide contexts for promoting entrepreneurial spirit among students.
