02 A Joyful Day
Today is a sunny day, a normal school day and I, the same as usual, enjoy exposing myself under the sunlight. I left my office at around 9:00, aiming to tour around the campus and pay visits to my lovely students. When I walked out the door, I was immediately greatly amazed by the beautiful pond and flowers which is so attractive and ‘attention’ seeking. To my perception, this distinctive place perhaps, should be the centre of interest of the school, most welcome by the lower primary, especially the P.1 and P.2 students.
I took some pictures there. I noticed that the whole campus today was so calm, peaceful, neat and tidy. A voice inside seemed to inform me that we should be more proactive and productive at our work, and should not be lazy in this beautiful sunny day. Although the IE (Invitational Education) review panel visit has just completed for a week and everything has returned to its normal routine, it is obvious that we are still keeping our school under great care and very well managed. Thanks should go to all staff who have been so devoted to make our school a great and inviting place!
When I walked up the stairs at around 9:15, a lot of welcoming hands waved to me presenting their warmest blessings. Some when walking down the stairs from the upper floors, said “Hi” and “Good Morning” to me even stretching their long hands to reach me with big smiles. Some even leaned forward and shouted from their seats inside the classroom, showing their beautiful teeth to me, too. How touching and amazing!
This is only a normal school day. There is nothing so special but I have already felt that the school is full of blessings, joy and hope, and students are showing their eagerness in learning with wisdom, faith and love. I truly believe that God has always been with us. He keeps the school atmosphere elsewhere so peaceful, inviting and warm such that students can learn meaningfully, happily and fruitfully within every single day. What a rewarding and much blessed day!
