Everyone Has Their Own Beauty

“Visible things can be invisible. However, our powers of thought grasp both the visible and the invisible – and I make use of painting to render thoughts visible.”― René Magritte. Magritte is my favourite artist. He is a surrealist with many valuable thoughts, and this is one of his quotes that I find most inspirational and visionary.
Since we were small, many people have told us what is aesthetic, as well as how to be a “good” and “pleasing” child. The world has hidden regulations for people, but actually, there is no practical value or standardised measurement for every child.
It is interesting that sometimes the typical “naughty” students are creative with many amusing ideas. I always discover that there are some stories behind the “naughty” behaviours after having a deep conversation with them. There are so many things we can appreciate before we judge. Children always surprise me. They are actually fantastic when we find out their talent and beautiful souls.
Art plays a significant role in our life. It is a language which makes invisible thoughts visible. The reason why I love art is that it is a platform for me to listen to myself as well as to connect with others. Children love presenting their thoughts and expressing their emotions with drawings. The more time you are willing to spend on appreciating their art pieces, the more you can see. Moreover, art creation is a process of inspiring, expressing and connecting with the outside world. Children’s artwork is always a sweet bridge to enter their world. I am not only an art teacher, but also, a listener encouraging them to share their views with people around us. As they grow up, art can help shape their perspectives and show their talent. Hence, mental care is more valuable than any feedback on practical skills and beauty.
There are no regulations on beauty. We are all unique. Let’s treasure all the beautiful moments with our loved ones and show kindness to everyone.
